Antoni D'Ocon
Founder & CEO
Antoni D’Ocon is one of the most prolific animation professionals. D’Ocon, an internationally renowned creator, director and producer, began his career in the audiovisual sector when he was merely 17 years old. He produced his first movie and distributed it himself. In 1976 he created the trademark D’Ocon Films.

In 1989, D’Ocon revolutionized the process of animation with an original and flexible production system, patented worldwide as the D’Oc Animation System.
With one of the most innovative production structures on the market, D’Ocon has been the home of successful professionals, some of whom have moved on to create their own companies or are in the front line of the biggest production studios in the world.
D’Ocon has produced more than 2,700 episodes and more than 30 movies.
D’Ocon has created internationally successful animation series alongside international co-producers such as Universal Studios, (DIC)Disney and Sony in USA; TF1, FR2, Marina and Ellipsanime and M6 in France; BBC and Britt Alcroft in England; RTVE and TV3 in Spain; BKN and Ravensburger in Germany; RAI in Italy and CCTV in Beijing among others.
Awards
In the year 2000, D’Ocon was awarded the National TV Prize, for creating the “Supereñe” character and TV program. In 2009 he won a Gaudí Award for the Best Animated Movie “A Christmas Without Santa”. Some of the more relevant awards are:
• Scruff - ZAPPING Prize 1999 to the best animation series.
• SupereÑe – ZAPPING Prize 2000 to the best children’s program for television.
• D’Ocon – National TV Prize 2000.
• Salvá Campillo in 2001
• D’Ocon – Aqua Prize 2003 to quality of business administration.
• D’Ocon – Gaudí 2009 for the best animation movie “A Christmas Without Santa”
• D’Ocon – Nominated for a Gaudí 2010 for the best animation movie “Cinderella’s Carnival”
